Minneapolis lands one of the biggest events on the wrestling calendar this summer: WWE SummerSlam comes to U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026. It’s a two-night, stadium-sized spectacle, and it’s going to pull wrestling fans from across the country into downtown Minneapolis for a full weekend.

SummerSlam runs two nights, August 1–2, at U.S. Bank Stadium (401 Chicago Avenue). Expect a full evening of matches each night, and plan for late finishes on both Saturday and Sunday.
That two-night format changes the travel math. This isn’t a show you drive home from at midnight and come back for the next afternoon — nearly everyone traveling in needs at least two nights of lodging, and downtown rooms will be the first to go.
