Can You Get to Acme Comedy Co. From Downtown Minneapolis Without a Car? Nov.–Dec. 2026 Headliners

A comedy night is one of the easiest ways to turn a month-to-month stay into a real Minneapolis stay. Acme Comedy Co. is at 708 North 1st Street, and its fall calendar runs straight through the holidays, with two of the biggest weeks already sold out. Here is what is on the schedule, what we could confirm, and how to plan it from a studio downtown.

Who is playing Acme Comedy Co. in November and December?

This is the headliner schedule as Acme’s website listed it on Oct. 20. Availability changes quickly, so check the ticket page before you commit.

Kyle Kinane, Nov. 5–7. Thursday at 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tickets were listed as available.

Kelsey Cook, Nov. 11–14. Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. was listed as available; Thursday through Saturday were listed as sold out.

Nick Swardson, Nov. 18–19. Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. Listed as sold out.

Taylor Tomlinson, Nov. 20–21. Friday and Saturday at 6:30 and 8:45 p.m. Listed as sold out.

Tommy Ryman, Nov. 25–28. Wednesday at 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tickets were listed as available, and the schedule shows no Thanksgiving Day show.

How do you get to Acme from Oakland’s on 9th without a car?

Oakland’s on 9th is at 215 South 9th Street in downtown Minneapolis, and Acme is on North 1st Street. We have not timed the trip, so we will not promise a walking time. What we can tell you is how to plan it: put both addresses into Metro Transit’s trip planner for the exact night and show time you want, since service varies by evening, or use a rideshare for the late show. Acme’s own site links a Parking & FAQs page for anyone who does drive. Our guide to getting around downtown without a car has more on how our guests manage it.

One thing the schedule does not say: ticket prices, age limits and drink minimums. Those were not listed on the page we read, so check with the club or call the box office at 612-338-6393 before you go.

Why does a furnished studio suit a comedy-heavy month?

Because you are not on a hotel clock. Oakland’s on 9th is a furnished, month-to-month studio apartment hotel in an 1889 brownstone, with a full kitchen, WiFi, all utilities and heat, and free laundry included. Stay a night, a week or a month; there are no contracts. If you are in town for work and want your evenings to be yours, a bay-window desk by day and a late show by night is a pretty good routine.

Ready to book? Reserve your studio online or call us at (612) 314-5124. We will keep the lights on for the late show.
