Incredible Day!! By a stroke of LUCK, the Etsy store that we bought our custom hand-stamped door numbers at, is in our own backyard!!!! So I went to visit Ben and Jen at their Etsy store #aVintageParcel, and I’m not talking about visiting on the web….I mean actually visited!!! Online stores really exist! Real people, real stuff, real talent and oh my gosh what an incredible collection! If you want to browse truly unique stuff, check it out. But even better, a huge chunk of their business is crafting (the old fashioned way) brass name and number plates. And when I say old fashioned, I mean it in every sense: it is a family business, using equipment that is hundreds of years old, and techniques that are even older! Get ready…. TOMORROW I am posting a video of Ben and Jen fabricating a custom plate for the Oaklands!!! Wait until you see it!
