I could giggle about this picture all day, and it is not the Harry Wild Jones house that is so entertaining. Oh my gosh, the family! Is that girl spoiled? She got to sit on her pony, AND get her doll in the picture. Notice the horses in the background that didn’t make the cut. And what is the mom accessorizing with? an umbrella and a fan? Really? I know you guys are going to prove me wrong, but I think this house was right on Minnehaha Creek, like the photographer is in the creek. I wonder what they could see from the widow’s walk? Probably not many neighbors and a lot of farm. I think that is barbed wire across the front yard which means cows. This will be another great addition for the History Wall.
